My “undressing” of trees reveals both their beauty and their imperfections. Bringing forth rough exteriors and exploring rich hidden interiors, I shape fallen trees into works of art with spirit and structure and timelessness.
Mindful connections render my artwork into aesthetic abstractions, offering the potential for the viewer to experience inspiration and meditation. Tree wounds through their scars suggest strength and add expression and history to each piece. Lathe-turned shapes juxtapose organic design. I invite the observer to witness the simple grace of line, texture and rhythm created by the forces of nature.
My Sculpture for the Soul unveils an ethereal world created through poetic imagination—an intuitive representation of my interpretive response to nature.
